Mr. Emmanuel Chilaka Nwanna is an Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) certified forensic accountant.

Mr. Nwanna has behind him more than 30 years of accounting experience cutting across Industry and Corporate, Private Practice, Consulting and Public Service.

A graduate of Finance, Mr. Nwanna obtained HND from the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu in 1982 and capped his academic laurels with a Masters in Public Administration from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology- Business School. After the compulsory one year National Youth Service, he joined the UAC of Nigeria Plc, the foremost Multi-National Conglomerate as Trainee Accountant under the Student Accountant Scheme from 1984 to September, 1990.  During his stint with the UAC Plc, he got trained and worked in most of the subsidiaries as Boardpak Premier Packaging, UAC Group Textiles, Tractor and Equipment, A.J. Steward, and G.B. Olivant and Account Headquarters.

In pursuit of career progression, he joined the Investments and Securities Tribunal (IST) as an Assistant Director/Head, Finance and Accounts from June 2003.  He was later promoted to a Deputy Director in January 2004 after due review of his experiences and qualifications.  He was again promoted to full Director of Finance and Accounts in January, 2011.

One of the specialist assignments in my practice is my appointment as Accounting & Finance Expert, World Bank Assisted Community Based Poverty Reduction Programme for Abia and Cross-River States.

He belongs to the following professional associations:

• Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
• Information Systems Audit and Control Association, Illinois Chicago, USA.
• Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
• Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria.

He has travelled worldwide and has attended several international courses.

He is presently in charge of Finance and Audit Group at FastPay International Limited. He also has an oversight over Human Capital Management and Admin Group.
